Revenue Accountant

The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that Norse recognizes its revenue in compliance with IFRS-15 and other applicable industry norms. The Revenue Accountant will also ensure proper integration of Norse’s revenue system with our ERP system for a seamless transfer of revenue, taxes and fee data from the reservation systems to the ERP system.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure the Revenue accounting module of the reservation system is always up-to-date with Norse’s chart of accounts and associated dimensions.
- Take ownership of Skyledger revenue system and monitoring and reconciling collection of cash from the sales.
- Ensure all revenue related taxes, fees and charges are updated in all applicable systems in a timely manner
- Set up and closely monitor the integration between the Revenue and ERP systems to ensure that every single transaction is correctly captured in all systems
- To ensure that the revenue recognized by Norse is in accordance with IFRS-15 rules and in compliance with industry norms/standards as applicable
- Daily monitoring and reconciliation of company’s accounts with different payment service providers to ensure correct amounts are collected
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- University degree in Accounting/Finance
- Previous experience in Airline/Aviation Revenue Accounting
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with high-volume accounting data reconciliations between systems
