Junior Supply Chain Specialist

Do you have experience within purchasing and contracting? Are you eager to drive process improvements and have a commercial mindset? Then you may be the Junior Supply Chain Specialist we are looking for.

Some of the things you will be doing

• Support our offices, offshore operations, and projects in contracting, purchasing and logistics activities
• Develop and drive sourcing and contract strategies, including:
  - facilitate definition of scope of work
  - spend analysis
  - develop tender packages
  - lead tender processes
  - facilitate and perform commercial evaluation of bids and negotiations with suppliers
  - manage approval processes
• Perform hand-over of signed contracts and follow-up to ensure implementation of contracts for assigned categories
• Handle Purchase Orders and related invoices
• Provide support in use of procurement systems and supply chain processes

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree or higher within Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar
• Relevant experience working within purchasing and supplier contracts, preferably within Oil & Gas
  
• Commercial and working experience within contract law
  
• Strong negotiation-, contracting and people skills coupled with mature communication abilities
  
• Knowledge within Excel and Power Point
  
• Strong written and verbal language skills in both Norwegian and English
  
• A working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an advantage, but not essential
  
• Flexibility towards both tasks and working location; some domestic and international travel will be required
