To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions is looking for a Buyer who can help us succeed. 
 
What will you be doing?  
 
You will be working as a Buyer – Bulk equipment together with other colleagues for the Hugin A project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

• Package Responsible Buyer for bulk packages
• Prepare and develop procurement strategies
• Sourcing and pre-qualification of potential suppliers
• Prepare and issue enquiries and perform bid evaluations
• Negotiate contracts and purchase orders
• Ensure timely deliveries in accordance with budget and schedule
• Ensure that all activities are performed according to procedures
• Follow-up, control and report progress on contracts
• Report and manage risks
• Develop and maintain supplier relations

We think you should have some of the following: 

• At least two years of experience with project procurement
• Experienced with procurement/sales of bulk materials
• Good technical understanding and commercial skills
• Basic understanding of customer needs
• Solid communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Able to work independently on less complex tasks
• Proactive and flexible, with a team-player attitude
• Flexible and solution-oriented mindset
• Higher education within business and/or engineering
• Software skills: MIPS, Microsoft
• English language oral and written
