Engine Room Operator

We are looking for an Engine Room Operator with Tankerman highest grade certificate to join our FSO Randgrid.

The Engine Room Operator is responsible for the control and maintenance of the machinery and perform daily maintenance onboard the vessel.

Randgrid FSO is connected to the Gina Krogh platform and has contract until 3rd quarter of 2024

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis

Duties and responsibilities

• To assist the Assistant Technical Section Leader in his work with planning, corrective work and modification work
• Ensure that equipment and system are in conditions in accordance with operating instructions, performance descriptions and acceptable maintenance standard.
• Other preventive work such as cleaning, lubrication etc.
• Monitor the condition and guide the operation within the discipline.
• Contribute to a continuous update of managing documentation
• Participate in emergency preparedness organization according to contingency plan.
• Participate as helideck crew.

Qualifications

• Engineer Officer class 4
  
• ROC – VHF certificate
  
• Basic Safety training according to NOG-002
  
• Health certificate (offshore/seaman certificate)
  
• Tankerman certificate for Oil Tanker, highest grade
  
• Minimum 3 years’ experience from operating activities in the corresponding industry or trading fleet.
  
• Comply with the requirements for smoke divers
  
• Scandinavian language is mandatory
