We are looking for a new Director for Strategy and Solutions

Roche Diagnostics is hiring a Director for Strategy and Solutions (Chapter Lead) to drive forward its business and increase its impact, by establishing the marketing strategy and overseeing product management. As the leader of your chapter and as a leadership team member for the Roche Diagnostics Norway affiliate, you will lead the Strategy & Solutions team towards the aligned commercial strategy ensuring that the needed deliverables are developed and implemented to make an impact for patients, customers and Roche. 

Through your industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration, your contributions will create value by inspiring our stakeholders to build a better future healthcare system and improve patient lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overall responsibility for defining and delivering on the local commercial strategy, marketing execution, and product management. 

• Inspire and lead a team of people leaders (subchapter leads) for marketing and product management for the entire Roche Diagnostics business in Norway.

• Serve as a member of the Roche Diagnostics Norway Leadership Team and help create the overarching strategy and vision.

• Establish a roadmap for evolution and change management, including building functional expertise, skills, and capabilities required within the chapter. 

• Foster learning/experimentation, establish standards and build on best practices for marketing and product management.

• Ensure efficient execution, cost management, and proper alignment across our strategic priorities along with the creation and monitoring of goals/OBP.

• Ensuring and tracking that the Strategy and Solutions deliverables are executed.

• Recruit, develop, and retain talent.

• Connect and align with colleagues within and outside of RDN, including fostering an active collaboration with Nordic, Sub-Region North West, regional, and global colleagues.

EXPERTISE:

• 10+ years in a marketing/business development role

• People leadership experience preferred

• Robust experience within the Diagnostic industry

• Education in a scientific discipline, graduate education is preferred (M.Sc., Ph.D.), and business education is considered an asset (Marketing, MBA)

• Proven track record of contribution, impact, and performance

• Experience in both affiliate marketing and global business roles considered an asset

• Proficient in English
