Due to maternity leaves we are looking for two Financial Accountants for our Financial Reporting team. In this temporary role you will, together with the team, be responsible for the financial reporting for legal entities and branches within the Gard group and will use the appropriate tools to ensure a high level of accuracy and timely reporting. The role involves interaction with colleagues across functions and countries, in addition to external stakeholders.

This engagement will last until 31. January 2025.

Key responsibilities:

• Completion of closing cycles for the legal entities and branches within the group, including preparation and review of financial reports and statements

• Contribute to implementing changes to, or new, accounting standards

• Communicate and build relationships within the company and with external auditor

• Contribute to ongoing projects

Who are you:

Experience and education from accounting or finance is preferred, however applicants with experience from economic or other quantitative fields are welcome to apply.

We are looking for a candidate that is keen to learn and develop new skills and methods, is flexible, proactive and is able to see the potential for developing and improving current procedures and processes.

You have good command of IT tools and have experience of or an interest in digital tools.

You are collaborative, analytical and business oriented.

You need to be comfortable with using both English and Norwegian as your working languages.
