Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

Aker Solutions is now looking for a Mechanical Completion Engineer – Electro  with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is lead from Stord.

This is 14/21 day rotation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for MC activities within given area of responsibility for the project.
• Planning, preparation, organization and execution of MC activities within areas of responsibility, in accordance with the project procedures and plans.
• Jointly responsible for health, safety and environmental (HSE) aspects are thoroughly assessed, planned, implemented and followed up for all MC activities within the area of responsibility.
• Provide input to budget and cost of the project MC activities within the area of responsibility.
• Jointly responsible for the establishment of governing documents, procedures and work instructions as required for MC within given responsibility.
• Lead / Execute of MC activities within given responsible.

Skills and Levels Description:

• Good knowledge of the work processes within the discipline that is being carried out.
• Technical / Bachelor’s degree. Lack of education can be compensated with relevant work experience.
• Minimum 2-year experience from EPC processes within Topside and Facilities / Renewables Segments.
• Experience from Electro, Instrument, Telecom and Automation.
• Good knowledge of MIPS.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of PCS (Pims, ProCoSys) and Autodesk Simulate.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbally and written language.
