The position
The Digital improvement lead role has an overarching scope in Global External Analysis (GEA). By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:Drive GEA’s efforts to reshape the digital landscape within different analytical units.
Together with the GEA leadership groups, establish a vision and execute on a road map for digital improvements, including driving the prioritization that aligns with the GEA strategy.
Establish a network of digital stewards within the different lines in GEA and work with the interface between MMP digital groups and software development teams.
Collaborate with relevant team experts and development teams to translate business needs into realizable concepts and working solutions.
Facilitate workshops and cross-disciplinary work groups to identify requirements and expectations, creating and maintaining documentation of decisions and solution concepts.
Work closely in or with development teams throughout the development process, including process design, testing and verification. In addition, collaborate with Data Office on Data Products.
Maintain the Product backlog (i.e. the list of what should be produced) and prioritize based on business value and risk in cooperation with users, the team, leaders, vendors and other relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
MMP Global External Analysis (GEA) is responsible for the analysis of energy markets, macroeconomics, competitors & industry, as well as political developments. It supports decision making across the company, follows-up and influences policy & regulations and delivers key products for Equinor’s decision making processes. GEA consists of four units; Crude Products and Liquids (CPL), Gas, Power & Low Carbon (GPLC), North America (NA) and Macro, Competitors & Geopolitics (MCG).
This position will be part of the macroeconomics, energy markets, competitor intelligence and geopolitics and political analysis (MMP GEA MCG) team in GEA. In this unit we provide support on building scenarios for the future development in global and regional energy markets, analysis on climate policies, competitor landscape and geopolitical developments. It also supports recurring projects and delivers strategic and business relevant corporate products, and is responsible for the Market Intelligence Officer function.

Candidates to be educated with Master or Bachelor Degree in relevant subject.
Demonstrated experience working with project management.
Demonstarted experience working with strategic development of digital initiatives.
Strong collaboration skills and focus on leadership.
Understanding of agile software development.
Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
Demonstrated ability to deliver on business goals and strategic ambitions.
Good communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluent communication in English both oral and written.
