Senior Data and AI Governance Specialist

Now, we are hiring a Senior Data and AI Governance Specialist to join our Data and AI team.
In this role, you will be encouraged to break free from conventional thinking, explore innovative solutions and co-create with colleagues across Scandinavia to create value for our customers, employees, partners and shareholders.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute data governance roadmap to enhance data quality across organization.
- Identify and address data governance gaps, risks, and opportunities within the organization.
- Define and track data quality metrics and implement controls to ensure accurate version of crucial data assets.
- Ensure necessary capabilities for efficient data governance are developed and maintained.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audits as well as relevant regulations.
- Ensure data governance policies and procedures remain up-to-date and effective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Scandinavia to drive data quality improvements.
- Monitor the implementation of data governance strategies, evaluating and steering work of vendors and partners to ensure solid and effective data governance implementation.
- Educate and train users on data governance best practices and data quality standards.
To succeed in this role, you need to:
- Leadership skills to drive data governance initiatives and influence organizational culture.
- Proficiency in master data management and data governance practices.
- Expertise in modern data governance frameworks and tools including data quality, data security, data privacy concepts.
- Knowledge of current and emerging regulatory requirements and changes.
- Demonstrated ability to work methodically and proactively, with a track record of achieving goals and showcasing recent successes.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in data governance.
