The Project Control and Analysis discipline in Project Development is a competence unit with responsibilities within project control management, planning and progress control, cost control, project finance and accounting, and project control of contracts.
Description about task and responsibilities
The Cost Controller is responsible for contributing in the project control function in the project. She/he shall be an active member of the Project Control Team.
- Establish and maintain accounting structures in SAP.
- Establish work program and yearly budget for the project.
- Status Reporting and presentation of status of project / team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare economic reports from SAP.
- Support in preparation of monthly reports.
- Ensure contract/studies accounting.
- Ensure invoice administration.
- Support in updating of Manpower Projection Plan (MPP).
- Participate in Baseline updates.
- Ensure that the accounts and financial management are carried out in line with relevant requirements, guidelines and accounting principles.
- Coordinate input to monthly Cash.
- Call and accruals.
- Advise Project Management on financial and commercial matters.'
- Contribute to cross-functional collaboration and coordinated and good working processes within the project, controllers and with other relevant functions
Competence Requirements
- Professional insight in combination with collaboration skills and a business mindset.
- Good knowledge of the project control and cost management in particular.
- Practical experience from early phase work and/or project execution.
- Good understanding of the Project development process.
- Good SAP/Excel/PIMS/PowerBI knowledge.
- Good communication skills
Language Requirements
- Norwegian and English proficiency
Contract period
- 01.11.2023 - 21.10.2025
