System Engineer Dynamic Positioning

Are you an engineer looking for a challenging and dynamic role in an international environment? We are seeking a talented System Engineer Dynamic Positioning to join our team and help strengthen our Dynamic Positioning System Support.

As a part of our Global Customer Support division, you will work on systems installed on vessels worldwide, primarily focusing on the K-Pos Dynamic Positioning system. You will have the opportunity to perform software service and support, upgrades, configuration, and modifications. You will also be involved in implementation, testing, and verification both in the office and onboard vessels, as well as performing planned and on-call system support jobs. With between 100 and 150 days of travel per year all over the world, you will see and experience more than just an office desk.

In this role, you will be expected to act on your initiative, adhere to company rules and procedures, use a methodical and systematic approach, and analyse complex issues and problems to come up with rational judgments. Communication skills and the ability to cooperate with others and support team goals are essential.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a master's or bachelor's degree in Cybernetics, Data, Automation, or a related field. Newly graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of C/C++ is beneficial, as is proficiency in English, both written and spoken.  You should also meet the health requirements for offshore work and be ready and motivated for worldwide travel and support activities, including being able to travel on short notice.
