Hydro Havrand is on the lookout for a creative Project Development Manager who wants to contribute to developing the Hydrogen sector. As part of our team, you will lead a diverse range of initiatives, from identifying potential leads and partners and conducting feasibility studies, to technology qualification, site development, ESG and risk management, as well as planning, financing, and stakeholder engagement.
Some of the responsibilities:
- Initiating and leading the development of green hydrogen projects.
- Leading feasibility and concept studies and use in-depth market analyses to make investment decisions.
- Coordinating with international partners for strategic asset development.
- Managing project budgets and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaboratively working with teams to ensure a smooth transition from development to execution phases.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic background, preferably with a degree in engineering, business, or a related field. They must have a keen analytical mind to evaluate project feasibility, both technically and financially. Familiarity with local and global regulations, as well as environmental considerations, is vital to navigate the complex landscape of Project / asset development. Strong negotiation skills are essential for site acquisitions, stakeholder engagements, and contract finalizations.
Moreover, a successful candidate should have proven experience in project management, emphasizing the initial stages of project conception and design. They must also be adept at risk assessment, ensuring projects are resilient and sustainable. Interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, given the need for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders.
