As a graduate at Equinor, you’ll be joining 21,000 colleagues delivering oil, gas, wind, and solar power to 170 million people worldwide. The programme lasts for 2-years and includes rotations of 3-12 months across functions, business areas or locations.
The position
As a graduate in Mechanical Technology, you will be part of Equinor's dynamic team that is leading the way in the energy industry. You will have opportunities to work with the latest technology, develop new technology, collaborate with industry experts, and contribute directly to the energy transition.When joining our team in Mechanical Technology you will have the opportunity to:
- Work on a broad range of tasks related to turbomachinery, static mechanical equipment, piping engineering, design layout, pipe stress, and high-pressure valves.
- Contribute to Equinor's energy transition towards renewables, wind, low carbon solutions, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and oil and gas projects.
- Develop new technology in collaboration with contractors, suppliers, research institutions, and universities and implement them in new and operating plants.
- Participate in building new international and Norwegian energy production sites from early planning through engineering, construction, and start-up, catering to mechanical aspects.
- Perform technical evaluations and risk assessments of complex mechanical designs and related systems.
- Utilize digital solutions for monitoring and controlling mechanical equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
You

- Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within Mechanical Technology
- Completed degree by the year of starting (2024).
- Fluent in English.
- No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience.
- Formal experience is not a requirement.
- Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.
