We are seeking experienced Technicians to join our Warranty department in Grefsen, Oslo, to work on our trams delivered in Oslo. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trams to ensure they operate at peak performance levels. The Warranty Technician will work with a team of engineers, mechanics, and electricians to carry out warranty repairs on trams.

The position:

• Troubleshoot and carry out corrective repairs necessary to ensure warranty of the trains and trams equipment (doors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic brakes and auxiliary equipment, HV circuits, refrigeration equipment, motors, traction equipment etc.)
• Be able to interpret schematic diagrams
• Work with 750volt DC systems – if qualified
• Deal with electrical and mechanical equipments
• Be PC literate with the ability to learn new software programmes quickly.

Contribute to good depot housekeeping and maintain health and safety standards in accordance with CAF procedures.

Our team of Technicians work in a rotation arrangement with four different shifts.
Day - night - morning - night on two and four weeks rotations. 

Required profile - Technical Competencies Essential:

• Advanced Vocational qualification/apprenticeship in the areas of Electricity/Electronics, Mechanics, Vehicle Maintenance.
• High electrical / electronics technical knowledge / ability is desirable
• 4 years post apprenticeship experience is beneficial
• Preferable electrical/ electronic machines repair experience.
• Available to work shifts, morning, day, afternoon and nights.
• Diagnostic experience
• Rail related experience is beneficial
