Hovedtrener for Apparatturn menn (ATM)

Tromsø turnforening søker å ansette en hovedtrener for våre mannlige gymnaster. Oppstart 1.april 2024 eller etter avtale. Vi søker etter en trener med erfaring fra apparatturn på høyt nivå og med gode treningsferdigheter. Ferdigheter i mottak/sikring er obligatorisk. Treneren må være villig til å jobbe hardt med klubbens strategier og utøvere for å nå klubbens ambisjoner og mål. En detaljert instruks for stillingen vil bli utarbeidet etter avtale med TTF`s ledelse og ATM`s sportslige leder. TTF har store og gode ambisjoner og tradisjoner for herreturn, og ønsker å ansette en hovedtrener som har tilsvarende mål. Vi oppfordrer også fremmedspråklige til å søke, men det vil være en fordel om søker behersker muntlig engelsk. I tillegg må kandidaten være villig til å ta et norskkurs i  samarbeid med foreningen.

Arbeidsoppgaver:

• Utvikle, implementere og gjennomføre langsiktige og kortsiktige planer for ATM i samsvar med klubbens strategi og ambisjoner, i samarbeid med sportslig utvalg ATM
• Faglig ansvar for trening og individuell utvikling av alle gymnaster i gruppa, i samsvar med trenerteam
• Overordnet ansvar for trening i ATM 
• Planlegge- og delta i konkurranser med gymnastene
• Ansvar for assisterende trenere
• Rekruttering av nye gymnaster fra klubbens åpne breddepartier

• Være i stand til å kommunisere og samarbeide godt med gymnaster, foreldre, trenere og hjelpetrenere
• Det er ønskelig at du kan kommunisere på skandinavisk eller engelsk godt muntlig (og skriftlig)

Tromsø Gymnastics Club has a vacant full-time position as head coach for men's artistic gymnastics.

Head Coach for Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) 

Tromsø Gymnastics Club is looking to hire a head coach for our male gymnasts. Start date April 1, 2024, or by agreement. We are seeking a coach with experience in high-level artistic gymnastics and excellent coaching skills. Skills in spotting and securing are mandatory. The coach must be willing to work closely with the club's strategies and athletes to achieve the club's ambitions and goals. A detailed job description will be developed in consultation with TTF's management and the MAG's sports director. TTF has significant ambitions and traditions in men's artistic gymnastics and is looking to hire a head coach with similar goals. We also encourage non-native speakers to apply, but proficiency in spoken English is preferred. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to take a Norwegian language course in collaboration with the association.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and execute long-term and short-term plans for MAG in line with the club's strategy and ambitions, in collaboration with the MAG sports committee.
• Professional responsibility for training and individual development of all gymnasts in the group, in line with the coaching team.
• Overall responsibility for MAG training.
• Plan and participate in competitions with the gymnasts.
• Responsibility for assistant coaches.
• Recruiting new gymnasts from the club's open gymnastic classes.

Personal Qualities/Qualifications:

• Positive and self-driven with an ambition to succeed in a team environment.
• High-level artistic gymnastics qualifications.
• High qualifications in spotting and securing gymnasts.
• Structured and focused.
• Good pedagogical and organizational skills.
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with gymnasts, parents, coaches, and assistant coaches.
• It is desirable that you can communicate in Scandinavian or English, both verbally and in writing.

About the Employer 

Tromsø Gymnastics Club (TTF) was founded in 1862 and is the oldest sports club in Northern Norway. TTF has approximately 900 active members distributed among recreational classes, competitive teams, and various other activities. The majority of members are in children and youth groups within the recreational segment. In 2018, Tromsø Gymnastics Hall was completed, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tromsø Gymnastics Club. The hall is fully equipped with all gymnastics apparatus and pits. Today, the hall is operated by employees and enthusiasts in TTF. The association has around 50 employees, including 5 permanent coaches in various positions and 3 permanent administrative staff. 

TTF is located in Tromsø, the largest city in Northern Norway with approximately 80,000 inhabitants. The city is the largest university town in the region, attracting students from across the country and internationally. Known for its unique nature and location, Tromsø attracts a significant amount of tourism both in winter and summer. Additionally, Tromsø is renowned for its vibrant nightlife with many restaurants, cafes, and entertainment venues.
