As a Lead Engineer you will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Requires good theoretical knowledge and a strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.

 As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, regulations, and product/program requirements. This work would include mechanical and hydraulic/instrument engineering for all products.
• Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organisation.
• Working together with business leadership and project management. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
• Delivering products as part of a team. Work on cross functional teams.

To be successful in this role you need the below:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
• Proven years of experience within mechanical and hydraulics/instrument.

• A good understanding of equipment for use in explosive areas is desired.
• A drivers licence type B is an advantage.
