We are now looking for an Application Administrator - TIME with high interest for digitalization, technology and enterprise processes to join our highly skilled and solution oriented team in Stavanger, Bergen or Trondheim.
What will you be doing?
The role will interface between enterprise and IT, supporting the organization with configuration and set-up of applications, development, and implementation of new solutions.
Responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:
- Ensure a smooth mobilization and operation of the application and interfaces to other applications
- Advice and support in application setup
- Assist in Quality assurance of the database content and working methods applied in projects
- Assist the Super users with guidance and support
- Engage with engineering disciplines with respect to efficient utilization and enhancements of the application
- Cooperate with application developers regarding needs for changes to application or interfaces
- Ensure establishment and maintenance of principles and methods for information exchange, including electronic transfer, between the project sites, other contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and client
- Contributing to continuous improvement and facilitating digitalization initiatives
- Participate in Product Owner network for application
We think you should have:
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
- 5-10 years of versatile experience with engineering software in projects in the oil and gas industry and/or process industry
- Familiar with interfacing other applications (For example Safran, MIPS and E3D)
- It is an advantage to be familiar with the working methods and usage of the TIME application in Aker Solutions
- Good knowledge of relevant international standards and client standards
- Good communication skills and a proactive work approach are required
- Multidiscipline understanding
