Are you our new UX designer?

We're looking for an empathetic, skilled UX designer who is passionate about every phase of the UX design journey. Your mission will be to shape a flexible, user-friendly UI toolkit, enhancing interaction with our services.

Your creations will fortify our evolving design system aimed at boosting usability, simplifying communication and ensuring consistency. You will play a key role in advancing our solutions' core functionality, discovering valuable features, as well as driving our company towards ambitious milestones.

Our design team is growing and plays a crucial role in the future success of Admincontrol. We are responsible for the design of all services on web, iOS, Android and Windows, using Figma to transform our product vision into reality within an agile, iterative framework.

As an integral part of a cross-functional team of product people and developers (web and apps), you'll be involved in the entire product development cycle. From user research and ideation to execution, you will play a pivotal role. You will champion our users, striving for intuitive, accessible and user-friendly solutions.

Each decision made by any team will have a ripple effect on our entire system , underlining the importance of clear communication and macro-level thinking. Your expertise will play a critical role in guiding our collective success.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Identify UX is.sues, improvements and opportunities.
• Conduct user research using discovery methodologies to understand customer and end-user needs, behaviours and motivations and identify appropriate solution
• Continuously test and validate ideas and solutions with stakeholders and users.
• Participate in agile activities such as daily scrums, planning, grooming, reviews and retrospectives.
• Analyse, plan and prioritize UX activities in collaboration with a team comprising product owner, developers, architects, quality assurers and other UX designers.
• Participate in the development, improvement and implementation of Admincontrol’s UX principles, guidelines and design system.Illustrate and present design ideas to your team with process flows and prototypes.
• Design graphical user interface elements and components consistent with the look and feel of our design system.
• Help to increase design awareness and maturity by participating in company-wide presentations and workshops.

Skills and experience

• Relevant higher education (3 years minimum) experience may compensate.
• Proven knowledge of user-centred design and methodology, as well as interface design.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to transform customer processes and needs into consistent solutions and improvements.
• Ability to adapt to new demands.
• Understanding of agile and lean development.
• Ability to work in a flexible environment that values innovation.
• Eagerness to collaborate with other designers who will challenge you.
• Soft skills such as communication, collaboration and empathy are just as important as technical ability.
