Who we are
We in DNB Corporate are working in the most exciting part of system KYC (Know Your Customer). The team is focusing on building new to get business prospect in AWS Cloud Platform and integration towards the automated SaaS solution Fenergo. We are building our new internal application/API in AWS to support new upcoming initiatives - all on open standards and modern best practices. We are working agile where we take responsibility of the whole software development chain from inception, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation. We build it - we own it - we run it.

To be able to provide the best, most secure, and user-friendly experience possible we are constantly innovating and are not afraid of experimenting with new technology. To make life easy for our engineers we constantly work on simplifying development and deployment processes. We are strong believers in automation, pipelining, and infrastructure as code.

What we need
We are looking for a Software Engineer / Tech Lead that can bring a unique blend of leadership and management skills and apply these to a technical context with a team of developers. We are looking for someone that is hands-on the code, and at the same time can steer the team towards a common technical vision.

We are looking for a senior software developer or architect who either has experience being a team lead from before or wants to take the next step in their career. (We see that you are still interested in writing code but want to take on a broader responsibility in the product development process and making a bigger impact in your work.) We are less concerned with the specific technologies and programming languages you know as we are with mindset and having wide ranging experience. Having worked in finance domain is of course a big plus.

What you will be doing
You will be working closely with the architect and design teams to build our new solution in cloud. As the Software Engineer / Tech Lead you will be the engineering counterpart of the product manager and as such be involved in all the phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design and building, testing and deployment and ensuring high quality of deliveries. Implement good process to keep track of team timeline.

You assure that all standards and requirements are well known and implemented by the team.

• Design and build new solution together with product owners, architects, and engineers
• Ensure 24/7 operational stability of the solution
• Champion good engineering processes and best practices
• Coach and mentor other Engineers
• Have overview of the KYC domain and keeping up to date with standards and new product features
• Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and stakeholders

Qualification and experience

• Programming skills in Java, Spring
• Experience working with AWS
• Experience of working with Microservice, Event Driven applications is big plus
