Mechanical Engineer for Norwegian Technology company in growth

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our water treatment and energy recovery projects. 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Participating in Engineering multi-discipline teams, tender, FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• For Mechanical packages – responsible for preparing technical requisitions specifications and Follow-up incl vendor documentation (PRE work).
• Assisting PRB with tender, BID work and vendor inspections.
• Engineering Work Packages for mechanical and follow-on engineering with construction Contractor including Site Queries.
• Knowledge of different pump types
• Master Equipment List
• Preservation procedures
• Noise Studies
• Material Handling design
• Update tag and documentation info in ProArc.

For the right candidate, position as Mechanical Discipline Lead will be considered.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.
• Competence within different pump types.
• Candidates with PRE work experience preferred.
• Specialization within at least one of the following areas are preferred: Rotating Equipment’s (Pumps) and/or Pressure/Atmospheric Vessels.
• Ability to work in terms and independently.
• Good communication and cooperation skills.
• Systematic and accurate.
• Experience with ProArc.
• Familiar with I.E. Norsok and other statutory requirements.
