Nutrimar is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our process team. The ideal candidate us a solution-oriented individual with a solid understanding of the process industry, good understanding of risk mitigation and ideally with previous experience in leading a team of process technicians.
Your primary focus will be to ensure that our products meet our high standards of quality and that the production goes according to planned. You will be working closely with the assisting production manager on the key responsibilities.
Nutrimar processes approximately 40’ tonnes of salmon by-product yearly. All material is freshly processed and hydrolysed, providing Nutrimar with an excellent competitive advantage regarding the nutritional quality of the finished product.

Responsibilities:

Follow up on daily production, ensure production data is logged correctly, implement new instructions, and participate in process improvement projects.
Provide clear and effective leadership, ensure personnel receive necessary training, coordinate raw materials with logistics, and have personnel responsibility for operators.
Comply with quality, HSE, and environmental requirements, quality assurance of goods to customers, handle deviations, and assist in the development of processes, products, and routines.
Prepare monthly reports for operations and finance, report according to agreed reporting pattern.

Relevant background and skills

Bachelor's or degree in Master of Science, (MSc)., but a technical vocational school degree or extensive experience in a similar position can compensate for this.
Industrial experience, ideally as a production manager, preferably within Process Control, Food Processing, and/or Process Chemistry
Leadership experience or courses
Organized and able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
Solution orientated
Natural authority with good team skills
Experience with quality and HSE
