Job Summary

The Pumping and Sand Management Field Specialist/Supervisor is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable service to the customers. He / She is directly responsible for the safety, quality, and efficiency of the service delivered at the wellsite.

The right candidate will be offered an advanced SLB training program upon hire to ensure he or she is aligned with the technology and processes SLB has developed through its unrivalled global experience. 

 Essential Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Participate and lead in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
• Ensure individual and crew work safety.
• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
• Operate the equipment and perform/supervise the operation according to competency level and job requirements.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Mechanic or equal technical Trade certificate (Fagbrev / Teknisk fagskole/Bachelor).
• Experience with mechanical equipment, chemical mixing and pumping will be an advantage.
• Fluent English, written and verbally.
• Relevant professional experience supervising high pressure pumping jobs (sand control, frac, acidizing, coil tubing, scale treatments).
• Additional advantage would be familiarity with specific software (or equivalent): SandCADE, FracCADE, etc.
• Additional advantage would be experience with AkerBP operations on ULA and/or Edvard Grieg.
