Technical Drafter / Design Engineer

We are now recruiting for the Technical Drafter / Design Engineer position to join our team in Stavanger, Forus.

Due to increased activity, we seek a Technical Drafter / Design Engineer for permanent employment in Fishbones.

The relevant main areas of responsibility Are:

• Create technical drawings and product specifications for prototypes and commercial equipment
• Analysis of geometry, tolerances, and features necessary to completely define a part or an assembly of parts for production
• Close collaboration with the research and development department on ongoing research projects
• Plan and participate in prototype testing
• Project management to a certain degree

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is beneficial but not a requirement
• Experienced with technical or mechanical drawing
• Proficiency with Solidworks and EPDM is an advantage
• Familiar with geometric tolerancing
