Job Description


Statkraft is one of the largest traders in the European energy market and an important actor internationally. We trade energy and commodities in more than 20 countries and are active on 13 energy exchanges. Trading & Origination activities are about understanding the pricing of energy and energy-related products and to bring renewable energy to the market and the consumers on their journey to decarbonisation.

As a Business Partner Digitalisation/Business Analyst in IT:

  • You will be responsible for activities in the interface between the business and IT and have a key role in ensuring an excellent customer experience by translating business needs to IT solutions
  • You will work closely with Trading and Origination teams, understanding their core business and processes, and bringing the resources of Statkraft IT to deliver the best possible solutions for business challenges and opportunities 
  • You will create awareness on how business needs can be solved with digitalisation and new technologies
  • You will develop and coordinate concrete initiatives from idea to execution 
  • You will be a team player collaborating closely with both the technology teams in IT and the business teams 
  • You will support in continuously strengthening our way of working and optimizing our processes



Qualifications


We are looking for candidates with deep interest, motivation, and experience in leading business critical IT and digitalisation activities. We believe that includes:

  • Higher relevant education at university level and minimum 5 years’ work experience 
  • Work experience from digitalisation work within trading & origination in energy companies is of high interest. Work experience from consulting companies or banking/ insurance, risk and/or finance area in global industrial or energy companies is also relevant.
  • Strong communication skills and proven track record of working collaboratively with different stakeholders, including technical and business teams
  • Fluent in English - verbal and written communication 
  • Skilled in facilitation, project management, agile and innovative techniques to plan and structure work to ensure high quality solutions with deliveries from many involved parties across different teams 
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience from optimizing deliveries related to a product
  • Interest and understanding for the opportunities enabled by digitalisation trends and technologies, e.g., cloud, data platforms, process automation, and user experiences  
  • Great at making things happen, starting and moving cases with passion and drive, as well as corporate navigation skills.

Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries. The applicant must be eligible for security clearance and authorization.
