AutoStore is seeking a Technical Illustrator

We are now looking for a Technical Illustrator to join the growing engineering team at our headquarter in Nedre Vats. We are to further strengthen our mechanical team with a detail-oriented person who can assist with illustrating and writing material for product manuals.

You will work closely with the whole of R&D to provide them with documentation. With us you will have the opportunity to work with innovative products, while developing yourself within a multidisciplinary department.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide input for new and ongoing content creation at the interface between the mechanical engineering, service- and documentation departments
• Participate in reviews of manuals
• Bridging the gap between engineering and documentation departments

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with 3D visualization (Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor or similar)
• Practical experience and understanding of mechanical systems will be valuable
• Preferably some experience with design of mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Motivation to perform and learn: relevant education and experience will be equally considered
• English is our official working language, so a proficient level in English is a requirement
• The candidate must be willing to learn the software that we use
