Are you passionate about ESG and financing?

As an ESG Advisor in Swedbank Norge, you will have the opportunity to work with sustainability linked loans, green project financing and complex green/social loans offered to our large corporate and real estate clients. You will be the lead responsible specialist within ESG financing in the branch and act as a key stakeholder towards the Nordic ESG team in Stockholm. The ESG Advisor will advise Swedbank’s clients and work closely with the client teams. We are looking for an ESG Advisor who is eager to further build Swedbank Norge’s ESG financing offering and play a vital role in developing sustainable financing possibilities for a key domestic lender.

 The ESG Advisor will report to Head of Real Estate in Norge but will be involved in all sectors covered by Swedbank’s Norwegian branch and form part of our global ESG advisory team in Stockholm.

In this role you will:

Work with structuring of sustainability linked loans, green project financing and complex green/social loans

Advise Swedbank’s clients on ESG matters, and negotiate relevant KPIs and SPIs with clients

Support client organisation with insights on ESG matters

Be involved in marketing activities and events

Support sustainable finance product development

Be up to date on latest developments in sustainable finance and ESG, both from a regulatory and a market perspective.

Be responsible for internal ESG reporting 

The ideal candidate for the job has:

Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, ESG consulting or other relevant experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field such as Finance, Economics or Business Administration

Genuine interest in sustainability and ESG along with experience of being exposed to these topics

Analytical skills

Good communication skills

High degree of flexibility and client service orientation

Strong selling skills and a strategic attitude

Very good English and Norwegian language skills
