The Electrification, Maintenance & Modification (EMM) segment within Aker Solutions is responsible for maintenance and modification of existing facilities. Our objective is to be a leading supplier of low carbon solutions and electrification projects. We focus on optimizing field life solutions, driven by decarbonization and environmentally sound offerings. Our goals are ambitious, and we need young, innovative, and smart employees with us to do this.

Our Supply Chain Management Department in Sandnessjøen is now looking for a Young Professional Supply Chain to be a part of our team to strengthen tomorrows industry and future growth.  

What will you be doing?

• As a Buyer working within Electrification, Maintenance and Modification projects, you will become part of a large professional team and culture that works together to succeed
• You will join a dedicated team of Buyers and learn the procurement methods as you go in close cooperation with the engineering disciplines
• We experience that the best way to learn is through on the job training and encourage you to be curious and ask questions
• Our Buyers provide commercial and contract expertise to ensure that goods and services are delivered in compliance with procedures and business policy
• You will establish, maintain and follow-up strategies, budgets, inquiries and contracts for dedicated procurement packages and contribute to meeting the overall project plan
• Interaction with suppliers all over the world, maintaining good and ethical supplier relations will be part of the daily work
• Possibility to contribute to an improvement culture within procurement and functions across locations

We think you should have:

• Student graduating in 2023 or recent years
• Area of study relevant to the role you are applying for
• If you like to plan, manage and execute tasks you will thrive in this role
• Being proactive and have the ability to take initiative are great personal skills that will be appreciated in this role
• You have a high ability to learn and great interest for new technology and digitalization
• You will be given all the tools you need to succeed, and the rest is up to you
