DNB Digital Labs is looking for Backend Developers!

PM Digital Labs is a small and targeted team with responsibility to accelerate innovation and solve strategic business problems for the retail market of DNB by using cutting-edge and established technology. We are looking for backend developers to join our growing DevOps team.

What does your day look like?
As a developer you will be a part of a trust-based team consisting of architects and developers, located in DNBs headquarter at Bjørvika Oslo. The DevOps team is building solutions spanning several businesses- and tech areas in DNB. We as a team are involved in idea generation and responsible for the IT solution from design, implementation, testing, production to operations.

You as a developer will be responsible for developing solutions and delivering quality code with rock-solid security and quality. This requires that you work closely with our architects, tech leads and other developers and communicate your thoughts clearly to the team. Our focus on stability means that you must write testable code that can adapt to change.

Your knowledge and skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or C#
• Hands-on experience with public cloud-based infrastructure and services, on platforms such as AWS or Azure
• You have worked with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) and have a good understanding of software development and testing
• Experience in working in DevOps culture with knowledge of DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, security, monitoring, and logging
• Experience in developing frontend / web clients is a plus but not mandatory
• You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritize tasks, and experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and tools like JIRA and GitLab

You are not expected to have experience with all these technologies, if you have good amount of experience with development in general and are curious and eager to learn.
