We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join our Vipo team.

The Sustainability Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data; drive our sustainability program and other continuous improvement projects, relevant to our company and products. You will work with cross-functional teams and report to HSEQ.

Specific responsibilities include:

Data Collection and Analysis:

·     Gather, organize, and analyze sustainability data related to polymer-based production, materials sourcing, and product lifecycle.

·     Develop and maintain databases to manage metrics and information.

GHG Emission and Calculation:

·     Measure, report and manage GHG emissions across Scope 1,2 and 3.

·     Collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant information.

Progress Reporting:

·     Develop and maintain sustainability dashboards and reports.

·     Define and monitor key performance indicators related to GHG emissions and sustainability goals.

Sustainability Projects and Impact Assessment:

·     Evaluate the environmental impact of our value chain.

·     Collaborate on initiatives to reduce environmental impact, incl optimizing production and reducing waste.

·     Work closely with the production team to identify opportunities for improvements through out the production and distribution processes.

The Ideal Candidate:

·     Has a degree, or is working towards a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Material, or a related field.

·     Background in the production industry, environmental sustainability, or continuous improvement.

·     Experience and expertise in data analysis.

·     Proficient in English, and good Norwegian skills an advantage

·     Strong attention to detail and an analytic mindset.

·     Self-motivated, structured, and well organized.
