Ulmatec Thermal Solutions is experiencing an increasing demand for our solutions and is set to grow our business internationally over the next few years. To grow our sales and position our brand in new markets, an opportunity has emerged for an entrepreneurial and commercially oriented individual to complement our sales and marketing team.
Working in Ulmatec Thermal Solution:
The Area Sales Manager will assume responsibility for developing own client portfolio and will be given high sovereignty to deliver results. The primary objective is to develop new customer relationships and position our brand and solutions in new geographical areas and shipping segments. By promoting our environmentally sound waste energy management system and new thermoelectric power generation systems, ship owners will develop a preference in future newbuild- and retrofit projects.
In the role you will need to interact and cooperate with relevant internal functions in the company when developing the sales projects. You can expect an exciting and important role working for a company positioned to play a role in the decarbonization of the maritime industry. You will be working in an inspiring and safe work environment in an entrepreneurial company with established products and growth ambitions. Extensive travelling must be expected. With us you will have the opportunity to influence and shape the role in a company under development. Your main responsibilities:
- Sales responsibility for Ulmatec Thermal Solutions product portfolio and solutions, primarily within merchant vessel segments, both nationally and internationally.
- Proactively identify, plan and develop new sales projects, support decarbonization and energy efficiency with a consultative and collaborative approach
- Maintain and further develop new and existing customer relationships
- Sales project development, budgeting, offer preparation and negotiations
- Participate at relevant exhibitions and seminars
- Maintain and develop relationships with established sales and service agents to with the aim to grow business
- Monitor competitors and market trends
Who are you?
You are people oriented and understand the significance of developing robust relationships based on integrity and honesty. You are able to inspire and encourage the customer's organization at multiple levels to recognize Ulmatec Thermal Solutions as a key contributor to reduce operational expenditures and emissions in their future fleet. You have a drive for results and strong desire to exceed expectations and deliver quantitative results. You also understand that sales performance is a result of disciplined approach over time and have a creative and solution-oriented mindset.
In order for you to succeed in this role you are able to lead and influence without having direct reports. We believe experience from the marine industry and machinery systems is an advantage. A good commercial understanding and experience involving budgeting, trade finance and customer negotiations in an international context is preferable. Furthermore, a relevant bachelor or master's degree within engineering or business management will also be beneficial.
