The Cybersecurity Team in VARD is looking for motivated new colleagues, that are curious about all things security related and passionate to learn and grow in this exciting and challenging field. You will of course be trained to manage your new work environment, like we all regularly need to keep up with the global development of cybersecurity. Duties and responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Professional, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and receive training on the latest technologies and best practices in the maritime industry. You will gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in cyber security concepts and practices.

You will work on improving the resilience and robustness of the SeaQ suite of automated control systems for navigation, machinery, and power management systems. Including our new product SeaQ Remote which will enable centralized remote control of vessel functions. Conduct risk assessments and threat models.
Conduct audits and gap analysis to assess cyber security compliance.
Assist and advice product and service department on cyber security challenges.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, processes, and guidelines for SeaQ Products.
Write and review cyber security documentation.

Qualifications

Preferably a bachelor’s degree within the areas of Computer Science, Cyber Security or Automation.
Fluency in English.
Experience, interest, and willingness to learn can compensate for lack of formal education.
The position may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM).
