Position Summary
We are looking for a solution orientated supervisor for our Asset & Support team with either mechanical or instrumentation (observer) background. As our Asset & Support Supervisor, you will ensure that our fleet is always equipped with available technology and related equipment and managing needed support inside your responsibility. You will also be enabling a safe and cost optimized fleet.
Worldwide travel onboard the vessels and to our suppliers is to be expected.
Main Tasks
- Support and manage Asset & Supports for assigned assets and vessels.
- Identifying CAPEX need and OPEX understanding for optimizing lifetime of seismic asset.
- Be involved in and drive the standardization of technologies, processes, and procedures in relation to management of.
- Asset & Support assets and vessel support.
- Involved in follow up on new and existing vendors, equipment, contracts, costs, technical issues, and procurement related subjects.
- Make sure that feedback on vendors and their equipment are made and maintained internally and communicated to the vendors themselves. This relates to performance, lifetime expectations, contracts, and costs.
- Identify technical issues and risks and communicate to relevant responsible.
- Responsible for assigned tender review and feedback.
- Line management for assigned Field Engineers.
Required qualifications
- BSC in a relevant subject or minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point).
- Good written and verbal English skill.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with other employees and departments.

- Ability to make timely decisions based on the information available and within the authority of the role.
- Strong communicator with the ability to share relevant information.
- Ability to contribute to a team of subject and technical experts to solve problems efficiently.
