Do you want an important and exciting role in an international technology company with significant growth ambitions? Imenco is looking for two purchasers with a strong business acumen who will have a key role in achieving Imenco’s goals within their business areas.

In the position as Purchaser in Imenco, you will work closely with project managers and you will get responsibility and ownership of your purchasing area. Your most important tasks will be to negotiate purchase agreements, follow up suppliers and participate in negotiations. You preferably have technical experience from purchasing processes or other relevant background.

This position will report directly to Chief Supply Chain Officer.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Negotiate purchase agreements
Supplier contact and negotiations
Participation in major project purchases
Contribute to developing and improving the purchasing process
Negotiate framework agreements
Prepare requests and evaluate offers

QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant higher education
Strong business acumen with an understanding of technology
Knowledge of framework agreements
A few years of experience with procurement work
International experience is an advantage
Excellent proficiency in Norwegian and English

Good financial understanding
