Getting a flying start
To succeed in our department, you have extensive experience from the offshore / marine / subsea industry. You have experience with a combined office, site, and offshore work environment. You have worked in companies that are project driven, and have activities related to installation of HV subsea cables. You have experience working domestically or internationally ideally with projects related to interconnectors, windfarms, or power from shore. You will be comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects. You have experience as “Lead Engineer” and have experience in leading others through your natural initiative and drive.

How you make an impact
You will work in project teams as a senior engineer on projects with focus on marine installation operations. To do this you lead and plan, you will drive marine installation activities in projects such as installation packages and supplier / subcontractors, procedures, plans, analyses, calculations and other documentation. In cooperation with others in the project team; you will prepare specifications for equipment and services. In addition, you will be comfortable working with tender activities. You will also participate in developing and be responsible for technical solutions relevant in the department. You make a solid impact by participating in Quality and HSE activities internally.

Your starting point when you join

• Higher technical education (BSc / MSc degree) and relevant work experience.

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience from offshore installation- and/or subsea operations.

• Strong knowledge about dynamic installation analysis software such as OrcaFlex is preferred.

• Knowledge about 2D/3D design software, mechanical analysis FEM/ANSYS is preferred.

• Excellent Norwegian and English language skills - both written and verbal.

• Like to work in project teams but also independently.

• Structured and accurate when writing technical documentation/procedures.

• Creative and has an analytical and solution-oriented approach to challenges.

• Like to seek more knowledge within own discipline area and other interface areas.
