We are now looking for an experienced Azure Archirect for our European IT operation. This vital role is part of the European IT HQ located in Oslo, and as a key member of our organization, the Azure Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions on the Azure platform, with a focus on automation and consolidation of databases. Over the past year we have completed a "lift and shift" from datacenters to Azure. If you have a keen interest in big data and AI we want to hear from you. The role will be collaborating across all the European offices, and you will get good use of your communication and argumentation skills.

The role:

You will be part of a committed and technically strong European IT team that works together, and across 9 European countries, to create services and build a strong foundation for all internal users in Europe. You will have an important role in a development-oriented and future-oriented team with very good growth and development opportunities. You will be working closely with the IT Director, the infrastructure and network team. The role reports to Director infrastructure and IT operation.

As part of the integration team, you will have the opportunity to develop modern and integrated solutions using Microsoft Azure. The work will be consulting and operational within the entire range of services on Azure. You will develop interpersonal skills, market understanding and strategic capabilities.

As an Azure Architect, you will hold a key role responsible for the development and realization of our digital strategy:

Your background:

You have strong communication skills and enjoy consulting, challenge and collaborate with the team. You have a business mindset and focus on efficiency in both time and cost.

Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory
In-depth knowledge of Azure governance and management tools, such as Azure Policy and Azure Resource Manager templates
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline
Experience with Azure security and compliance features, such as Azure Security Center and Azure Key Vault
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker
Familiarity with Azure migration strategies and tools, such as Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery
Experience with Azure cost optimization and monitoring tools, such as Azure Cost Management and Azure Monitor
Knowledge of other cloud platforms like AWS and GCP
