Your tasks:

  • Define and optimize entire value chain from wellhead to customer, internal and/or external
  • Develop and implement capacity booking strategies and product sales strategies
  • Identify, assess, present and implement optimization opportunities
  • Negotiate and supervise agreements necessary to implement the above (including gas sales agreements and sales agency agreements)
  • Support and provide back-up to the Expert Commercial (Sales and Transport Expert) in all tasks related to commercial operations
  • Uses industry network in Norway to find solutions and negotiate deals to resolve these operational issues
  • Commercial Operations administration, risk management, monitoring and value tracking
  • Support Business Development in assessing opportunities with aspects of commercial operations
  • Provide quality commercial support to operations teams and other OMV departments
  • Deliver presentations and participate in miscellaneous project reviews and analysis
  • Be instrumental in securing project deadlines and ensuring that schedules are being met
  • Develop and maintain a Norwegian business network covering all aspects of the job
  • Participate in Gassco and license committees and all other relevant business fora as agreed with the Commercial Lead
  • Act as local integration interface with OMV Trading for specific tasks and activities
  • Hold overall responsibility for the gas dispatching contract (currently with A/S Norske Shell) and ensure the contract is benchmarked, updated and renewed, as required
  • Secure compliance with all relevant regulations (Norwegian state, Field and Infrastructure Operators as well as and OMV’s internal regulations)

Your profile:

  • Minimum requirement: University degree Master within Engineer/ Business/ Economics
  • Relevant professional experience: 5-8 years
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and insight to the Norwegian upstream segment and gas transportation system
  • Well respected within broad industry network in Norway
  • Experience and good understanding of structured products and pricing
  • Excellent inter-personal, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable in making independent sound business decisions on short notice with the ability to follow-up and implement
  • Hands-on experience from working with commercial operations upstream and mid-stream
  • Knowledge of engineering for oil and gas projects
  • Project management ability
  • Ability to analyze complex projects that interface with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in using the Gassco Booking System
  • Knowledge of processes related to transportation and sale of crude oil and NGL's
  • Ability to engage effectively with both internal & external stakeholders
  • Self-driven, positive and committed attitude, highly organized and resilient
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, License 2 Share
