Warehouse Manager

For Wandas new site at Berger we are looking for a thorough problem solver and a natural born leader. 

Estimated work distribution is 80% operational and 20% administrative. You will have responsibility for 3 Warehouse Operators now and 10-12 in the future. 

Responsibilities and mandates

• Responsibility for the daily operations of our warehouses
• Pickings and putaways, clearing quarantine
• Responsible for the HSE and safety of packing pallets at Berger
• Staffing and capacity on our warehouse operations
• Coordinate with partners performing maintenance on items at our warehouses
• Coordinate searches for missing items with customer success
• Maintaining needed levels of inventory (packaging material, pallets, warehouse material)

Typical tasks

• Pickings of items, preparing deliveries from our warehouses
• Putaway of items, clearing pickups delivered to quarantine
• Packing and securing pallets for safe storage
• Operating truck
• Procurement of packing material, pallets and other warehouse material

Profile and qualifications

• License for operating T3 "smalgangstruck" is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Experience as a warehouse manager is not a requirement

Working hours

Daytime Mon-Fri, but you need to be able to work weekends once in a while.
