Principal EIA & Control Engineer

ECOnnect Energy is a Norwegian provider of technology and solutions to simplify energy transfer from ship to shore. We started as a student project with the belief that clean energy should be accessible and affordable. Today, we have challenged the global shipping, maritime and energy sector by delivering cost-effective, flexible and sustainable energy transfer solutions for the maritime industry. 

Due to an exponential increase in demand for our technology, we are looking for an ambitious EIA & Control Engineer. You will support some of our most leading projects worldwide and be responsible for EIA, control systems and the hydraulics domain in our portfolio of projects.

We are looking for someone with

• Relevant MSc or BA degree in engineering within Control Systems, Cybernetics, Mechatronics, or electro
• +3-5 years of relevant experience from project execution or product development
• Relevant work experience from the field EIA (Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation) and control systems
• Proficient in relevant tools (Autocad, Autocad Electrical, E3, or similar)
• Experience from engineering, manufacturing, construction, and installation (EPCI) preferred
• Marine, Oil & Gas Projects and/or subsea project experience is preferred
