What you'll do 

We're after the right person to join our underwriting team in Oslo, to help them promote our products and services as they build and maintain relationships with our clients worldwide. When you're up and running, you'll take part in activities such as day-to-day client-servicing and tasks including registering risks, handling documents, and evaluating and following-up changes.

Being part of our underwriting team is a truly international affair involving many different types of interesting, engaged people - just one of the benefits of working for a world-leader in marine and offshore energy insurance. 

After around three years, you'll be armed with the know-how and skills needed to work independently with both existing and potential clients as part of our dynamic, international team.  

Qualities and skills 

We're after someone who is: 

• Curious and keen to learn 
• Self-driven - enthusiastic, motivated and with bags of energy
• A real team-player with a positive attitude
• Good at understanding facts and figures
• Good at problem solving, especially as part of a team
• Able to demonstrate a commercial mindset
• Enjoys building new relationships - a people person who can really 'connect'
• Can speak and write English and a Scandinavian language to a good standard
• Has a university, college, or equivalent education to at least Bachelor level - preferably with an economics, technical or legal background.

The successful applicant will enjoy working from our Oslo office on Dronning Eufemias gate in the landmark Barcode building.
