Enghouse Networks is looking for an experienced C++ and C# Developer who will be responsible for the development, architecture, enhancement, and evolution of our software and to be an active member of one of our server-side development teams.

This position can be executed from one of the following offices:

• Oslo (Lysaker or Sandefjord) office or home office based in Norway.
• Stockholm (Solna) office or home office based in Sweden.
• Budapest office or home office based in Hungary.

Who are you:

You’ve been working with complex, and performance-focused software applications in C++ and C# for a number of years and are familiar with the techniques used to ensure your code is optimized for computing and memory utilization. You’re familiar with Visual Studio as a working tool.

You’re a detail person who prides yourself on high-quality software, and where there is always the potential to improve things.

You are self-motivated and work well autonomously, but also highly inclusive of our other team members and know that for a team to work effectively, collaboration is key.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain our C++ and C# applications
• Work with the R&D team to produce and maintain a robust and secure platform
• Optimize code and process to make it more efficient
• Ensuring your software is compatible with our CI/CD pipelines.
• Install and configure software at the customer’s site remotely via VPN

Skills

• 5+ years experience with software development.
• A high degree of expertise in complex C++ and C# coded server-side applications
• BSc / MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
• Fluent in English
• Write readable and testable code with unit tests and integration tests
• Experience with release process: Source code control, build scripts, GitLab, CI/CD, BitBucket
• Good understanding of designing and consuming REST, SOAP, and/or GRPC interfaces
• Experience with containerized technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Jira or other Agile collaboration and development tracking tools.
• Citizenship or residency in Norway, Sweden, or Hungary

Nice to have skills and knowledge

• Experience in Geographical Information Systems, you have experience with coordinate systems, google maps/leaflet, or other map APIs
• Understanding Telecom networks infrastructure
