Storebrands Investor Relations team has won numerous awards for best Investor Relations (Stockman, Regi and Institutional Investor) over the last years. We are now looking for a new Head of Investor Relations to further improve the function. Are you the candidate we are looking for?

What will you work with?

The purpose of the role is to represent Storebrand towards the equity capital market, ensuring that the company’s investment story is being presented in a professional manner, coordinating the dialogue with current and potential new investors, and being the primary point of contact with equity market participants. Head of Investor relations is also responsible or co-responsible for rating activities in the Group. 

The role of the Head of Investor Relations (Head of IR) will be to develop and support a world class IR function in Storebrand (STB). As Head of IR you will work closely with the CEO and CFO, as well as other individuals and teams to ensure that consistent messages are delivered to stakeholders. You will report to the Group responsible for Finance and Strategy. Group Finance and Strategy department is responsible for Storebrand’s finance functions, with responsibilities for Group strategy, Financial Reporting Investor Relations, M&A, Rating, Funding and Treasury, Analytical Decision Support, and Ownership.


Objectives

  • Put in place a world class investor relations capability, based on best practice according to a defined strategy and financial calendar 
  • Maintain regular contact with investors, buy- and sell-side analysts, including responding to ad hoc queries on an efficient basis   
  • Prepare capital markets presentations and roadshow materials
  • Oversee the production of financial reports together with relevant functions in accordance with our financial calendar 
  • Attend key investor/analyst meetings and roadshows, either alone or with CEO, CFO and/or other corporate representatives  
  • Maintaining the IR section of the corporate website, developing other corporate presentations and investor packs to support analyst/investor dialogue 
  • Monitor share price and valuation of STB, and notify CEO/CFO of any developments 
  • Benchmark STB against relevant peers 
  • Maintaining a database of all investor/broker contact 
  • Coordinate and lead internal processes to ensure effective and high-quality financial communications and reporting to external audiences 
  • Ensure adherence to the rules and regulations as set out by the continuing obligations of relevant laws and Oslo Stock Exchange and other listing arenas and insider information policy, including producing stock exchange releases. 
  • Strengthen and protect Storebrand’s integrity, brand, reputation and governance in the capital markets.
  • Responsible or co-responsible for rating activities in the Group 


Who are you?

You have 2-10 years of IR experience with a strong track record and network in the analyst and investor community. High performing candidates with industry specific competence with shorter experience will also be considered, as well as buy- and sell-side analysts.

Based on your experience you have deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry: 

  • Ideally experienced within financial service sector 
  • Ideally Bachelor's/Master’s degree with specialization in Finance           
  • Experienced with financial modelling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors 
  • Strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Norwegian and English 
  • Excellent written / oral communication skills
  • Team-player with project management skills and ability to develop relationships both inside and outside STB 
  • Flexibility to travel when required, international travel should be expected
