We are searching for QC Inspector for a mechanical company in the oil industry

For one of our customers who is a mechanical company in the oil industry, we seek QC Inspector

Responsibilities and authority:

The QC Inspector reports to Team Leader, QC and Production Planning.

The QC Inspector is responsible for goods reception and approval, production inspection, final product acceptance, calibration and documentation. 

Ensure high-level knowledge of relevant sections of ERP (RamBase)

Main tasks:

Tasks will normally consist of, but not be limited to:

- Receipt of incoming goods and inspection of parts to production

- Inspection during production

- Final inspection and approval of products

- Follow up measurement tools, pressure gauges etc. and calibrate or send to calibration 

- Keep calibration register updated

- Documentation approval

- Assist production with support

Requirements for competences:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with min. 5 years of work experience. Relevant experience and competence can compensate for a lack of formal qualifications

- Operative experience with Rambase related to QC is preferred

- Systematic, independent and precise

- Initiative, the ability to see things through and to work with others

- Good verbal and written formulation in Norwegian and English
