Distribution Innovation is growing and strengthening our tech-team with several important roles and competence areas where one of them is DevOps Cloud Engineer. In everyday life it feels like a start-up since you can influence and impact DI, at the same time we are owned by Schibsted and have the backup in them.

As a DevOps Cloud Engineer you will join our Foundation-team. The team is responsible for all our underlying systems and makes sure that people don’t get stuck because of platform or infrastructure problems. DI Foundations has the architecture and maintains AWS and the network infrastructure. So as a DevOps Cloud Engineer in this team you will develop cloud native solutions, automate our pipelines and configure infrastructure as code. You will report to the Tech Manager (Øyvind) and be a part of the tech department in DI that is around (30 developers today).

Your key task and responsibilities will be to:

• Design and implement cloud native solutions using IaC principles and platform services such as AWS.
• Build, test and explore ways to make our automation pipelines and CI/CD even better
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Support the development and deployment of applications to the cloud.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with cloud (AWS is a huge plus)
• Are familiar with IaC (Infrastructure as Code). It’s very good if you know Terraform
• Knows scripting e.l Linux
• Backend-developer experience/knowledge is a big plus
• Preferably fluent in Norwegian and English
• Live in/close to Oslo
