Vår Energi is seeking experienced Geoscientists to join our subsurface teams at our Stavanger and Oslo locations. Candidates are expected to work in multi-disciplinary teams and have a proven track record of adding value by integrating key subsurface data to identify and characterize opportunities at the wellbore, reservoir, field, and regional scales. Key Responsibilities

As a high-end contributor in multi-disciplinary teams you will perform, lead and deliver the Geoscience components of integrated subsurface studies to drive and support business decisions.

Assignments can involve combinations of the following:

Integrate data and interpretations from a broad range of subsurface disciplines
Develop consistent stratigraphic frameworks and depositional models that explain and predict reservoir facies distribution and quality
Seismic interpretation based on well-seismic ties, rock properties analysis and supported by seismic forward modelling
Construct and populate reservoir models for development and depletion planning studies, well placement and identification of drilling opportunities
Perform a holistic characterization of the hydrocarbon system, in terms of individual play elements at the regional, basin, and prospect scales
Mentor early-career colleagues in subsurface characterisation

Qualifications

>8 years of relevant experience in subsurface characterisation
Graduate Degree (Masters/PhD) in a relevant discipline
Experienced Petrel user
Fluent English written and oral communication skills
