About the role:   

As our new Integration developer, you will play a key role in further developing Coop Norway's membership solution, as well as being an important contributor in our migration to the cloud journey. Our Integration developers are responsible for designing and implementing integrations between software platforms, programs, and applications. At this time the integration department is responsible for over 300 backend applications, and you will be involved in a lot of different domains.

Your day-to-day may look somewhat like this:   

  • Analyze and improve existing and new system integrations and migration strategies. 
  • Development and management of the company's integration platforms  
  • Formulating strategies and designing architectures for systems integrations. 
  • Error and problem analysis  
  • Contribute to technology and architecture discussions 
  • Work on the adaptations and interfaces based on the customer's system needs.  
  • DevOps and automation for our integration solutions  

 

Preferred background and experience:  

You are definitely a match if you....  

  • Have experience with Microsoft technologies such as .NET/C# and MS SQL 
  • Have worked with microservices in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and you are familiar with container technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes  
  • Have some experience in designing, developing, and implementing different types of APIs  
  • Have some experience with migration projects to cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform  
  • The ability to communicate well in both Norwegian and English 

 

We also think you will benefit from having:  

  • Knowledge of one or more open-source languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node 
  • A strong understanding of security practices  
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, however, relevant work experience may compensate for this.
