We are searching for an experienced Program Manager who gets the responsibility for all technology development within Tower Systems in Indra Navia. This position is the key decision maker in our development projects, and is working in the interface between product management and the delivery projects. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall technology development program for TOWER and heads the Steering Committee, in which senior engineers from Product Management, Project Management and Software Development are key members. The main tasks and responsibility areas are:

Strategic management

Program owner of all SW development according to approved budgets for Tower systems
Leading the Development Program Steering Committee in Tower systems
Close collaboration with top-management in relevant business reviews

Operational management, controlling and assessment

Planning, managing, and reporting the development activities initiated by Product Management
Progress control of development teams and managing quick response to deviations
Continuous assessment and evaluation of our delivery performance in the programs, and take actions and lead the improvement decision processes

Leadership and communication

Communicating priorities and goals to the development teams
Coaching and motivating the development teams to adopt tools and best practices
Interacting with leaders in multiple functions

We are looking for the technology leader who knows what it takes to excite competent software teams in complex environments. We want to hire a strong technology leader who has experience from managing, leading, and coaching people with high technical competence, either through programs/project management or leading direct reports. You have excellent program management insight, great communication skills and experience from leading SW-development programs or portfolio management of projects.

Our next Program Manager knows the value of Lean methods and have experience from continuous improvement processes. You understand Agile methodologies and have used them successfully in the past. Your educational background needs to be within technology, IT management or Software development, preferably at master`s level. Business fluency in English and Norwegian is required.
