Vår Energi is looking for proactive and highly motivated students to work for us throughout the summer of 2023.

As a summer student at Vår Energi you will be part of a company with ambitious growth plans and a commitment to deliver a better future. You will be included in the department activities and gain experience relevant to your studies.

Start-up: mid June

Main tasks

Finalizing the development of the subsea and pipeline inspection program
Prepare governing documents including implementation of requirements, work processes, tools and procedures as necessary
Support and assistance to Operations during maintenance and inspection campaigns and contribute towards problem solving and debottlenecking
Contribute to standardization within subsea and pipeline discipline
Follow-up activities and requirements in the profession as necessary
Smart Integrity management ("digitalization", new methods & tools to improve condition control)
Populate SURF systems failure mechanism & modes, field history into industry & company databases
Update and improvement of System Overview Manual & subsea Inspection, Maintenance & Repair (IMR) Workpacks
Assist in early work related to Lifetime Extension (LTE) for rigid riser- and pipelines systems
Update of Maintenance & Inspection protocols, systemize operating window

Qualifications

A relevant bachelor's or master's degree
Maximum having completed final year of a master's program
Maximum 2 years of professional experience between bachelor and master's program
Fluent written and spoken English
