The position

By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to work with:
Follow-up of structural discipline primarily in brownfield topside and substructure modification projects from early phase to project execution.


Typical tasks are:


- Responsible for, alone or as part of a team, the structural discipline in allocated projects in accordance with project development processes.
- Follow-up Contractor(s) to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work, budget and schedule.
- Contribute to internal project evaluations and documentation e.g. Design basis, Technical and operational requirements and guidelines (TORG), functional specifications, technology assessments and qualification programs.
- Provide input to procurement activities for ongoing and future project phases within own discipline e.g. ITT documentation and process, long lead items, company provided items (CPI).
- Within own discipline, drive engineering efficiency, secure safety in design, design-to-cost and constructability.
- During execution, support construction field engineers and take responsibility for decisions within own discipline, f.ex. handling of site queries (SQs) and non-conformance requests (NCRs).

- MSc/BSc in relevant technical discipline, and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

- Familiar with recognized structural analysis software tools and relevant technical requirements and recognized standards.

- Experience with project development process and its different phases (e.g. early phase studies, detail engineering, fabrication).

- Good multidiscipline and interface understanding.

- Good collaboration and teamworking skills, used to working as part of a team.

- Flexible with respect to business travel, offshore travel and types of roles, according to business needs.

- Fluency in English. Norwegian would be advantageous.
