About the position

Coop is on an exciting digitalization journey, and one key goal of ours is to become even more data-driven than we are today. Coop generates a tremendous amount of data on a daily basis. As you can imagine, the amount of potential insight we can create from this data is almost endless!

The Business Intelligence Frontend Team is responsible for all the tools for analysis, and reporting used internally in Coop and for our external vendors. As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer at Coop, you will be working closely with business, and helping shape tomorrow’s solutions within the domain.

You will not only be an ambassador for making Coop more data-driven, but you will also be essential to making the most of all the data that is constantly being generated.

 Your day-to-day will look somewhat like this:

• Development of analysis/dashboards/reports
• Solve incoming incidents and assist super users from different business units with questions and inquiries
• Developing and defining KPIs
• Hold training on our end-user tools
• Contribute with insight and knowledge in our recently established Reporting Forum for super users. This will be decisive for the success of our data strategy

We think you have some of the following:

• Several years of experience in the BI field and deep knowledge of SAP BO
• Experience with visualization and reporting in Lumira and Web Intelligence
• Experience with developing and optimizing BEx queries
• The ability to explain technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders
• You see solutions where others see problems
• Fluency in Norwegian or other Scandinavian languages is preferred, but not a must

Big plus if you also have experience with one or more of the following:

• Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud
• SAP Business Warehouse or other Business Warehouse tools
• SAP Central Management Console
• Experience from the retail/logistics sector
