We are looking for a dedicated colleague to take on a key role in Elkem's green transition and our commitment to develop our business in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris agreement. Sustainability is central to our business strategy, and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) has developed rapidly in Elkem in recent years. We are proud to have been rated amongst the best performers in several climate and sustainability ratings, such as platinum rating from EcoVadis, and A- scores from CDP for the company's efforts on climate and forests.

As our next ESG Manager, you will have a key role in further developing the ESG area in Elkem. You will be the project manager and key point of contact for ESG reporting, rankings, and other ESG related activities. You will work across our global organisation with an international team and a culture based on continuous improvement and involvement. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in our efforts to reach our ambitious goals for sustainability and innovation.

Most important areas of responsibility:

• Manage and develop Elkem's work on ESG and climate risk
• Advise and support the organisation on ESG related matters
• Project management for Elkem's annual ESG report
• Project management for various processes, including ESG ratings, EU Taxonomy and CSRD
• Digitalization of Elkem's ESG reporting, including relevant KPIs

Desired qualifications:

• Experience from ESG related work
• Insight in sustainability reporting standards
• Educational qualifications at equivalent of bachelor's or master's degree
• Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian
